30th ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Mega Free Eye Camp- A Journey to Clear Vision| Day-3: 100 surgeries performed and 171 shortlisted further

To bring brightness to the lives of visually impaired people and remove their eye disorders, a free eye camp by Shah Satnam Ji Research & Development Foundation as per National Blindness Control Programme, has crossed its 3rd day on 14th December. This camp is successfully providing the finest eye care services to eye patients from several places in India.

Organized with the pious guidance of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, 30th ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ free eye camp is serving thousands of patients this year. Since 1992, it has given endless eye care services to lakhs of beneficiaries across the Nation.

It’s a blessing for poverty-stricken people who were unable to get right eye care treatment on time and couldn’t ever get cured, otherwise. Presenting a generous and selfless spirit to serve mankind, the super-specialist doctors and volunteers pay their heartfelt homage to Rev. Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj!  

Details of Registrations and Surgeries!

With the holy grace of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the camp has flourishingly passed its third day with a huge number of registrations. Hundreds of patients have been shortlisted for surgical treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. Here are the details!

Total Registrations till 14th December are:

• 2316 Male
• 3399 Female

Total registration till date: 5715

5715 Patients registered and 100 Surgeries performed

100 surgeries have been performed so far and 171 new patients have been selected for the eye operations. These surgeries are performed by Dr. Monika Garg and Dr. Dipika in the Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital, Sirsa. This hospital is furnished with all the modern technologies and its high-tech operation theatres have all the facilities to carry on the operation steadily.

Camp is Adhering to Covid-19 Guidelines!

Keeping the health of every patient, doctor, and volunteer, on priority, proper guidelines have been followed. Right from the patients’ registration to surgical treatment, everything has been organized as per Covid-19 guidelines by the government. This 30th Free Mega Eye Camp is taking the following precautions!

• On entry of patient to camp, triple-layer masks are provided for complete protection.
• Their hands are sanitized while entering the camp.
• The distance of 6 feet in every patient has been maintained from the registration counter to complete the surgical process.
• The operation theatres are sterilized to keep patients safe from any infection or virus attack.

No Words for Altruistic Efforts of the Doctors and Volunteers!

Not just the patients, but their family members are also expressing admiration for the volunteers, who are tirelessly giving their selfless services in the camp. They stay with the patients from the very beginning and even after their surgeries, they are taking care of their diet, giving medicines from time to time, proper accommodation, taking them to washrooms, and keeping them so comfortable that their eyes fill with tears.

They don’t stop even thanking the paramedical staff and eye surgeons who are giving so calmly and smoothly. Their selfless love for all patients made them a real paradigm of humanity in society.

From 9 am to 4 pm, they are continuously checking the patients, without getting harsh or hyper. In fact, their pleasing behavior even in this camp organized on a mass level is a sight to behold. Such commendable courage, passion, and dedication for selfless service can’t be experienced anywhere else.

The camp will end on 15th December, however, the surgeries will be performed till all patients got the required treatment!
