Cleanliness and Blood Donation Camp Conducted in Ilford, London

Sadh Sangat England, UK had organised 10th Cleanliness Campaign in Ilford, London, UK on Sunday October 26, 2014 which was a successful event with the blessings of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. There were 66 Volunteers who took part in this Cleanliness Campaign. Volunteers from all over England viz London, Birmingham, Surrey and Luton participated in this drive. Also, there were few ladies with kids in prams and few pregnant ladies who joined this campaign. A British Resident Mr. Paul from Heston also took part in this event and he was amazed to see the passionate volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda during the Blood Donation Camp in Southall on October 12, 2014 where a record number of 116 Units of blood was donated. cleanliness drive in londonThe camp started at  11.30 am  and finished at 02.30 pm  and over 30 long streets (from Sunnyside road to Staines road covering the whole area upto South Park Road) were spruced up. After cleaning - there were  over 800 Trash bins (Approximately 2500 kg of garbage collected)  and everyone in the area was shocked and delighted to see the passion and enthusiasm of these volunteers. As per the Revered Guru ji's sermons, pledge forms were also filled up and 10 local residents of Ilford filled in the Pledge Forms  stating they will maintain cleanliness in and around their surrounding now onwards. This event was organized by the support of manager from the Environment Waste Department of Redbridge Council, Mr Russell Ward. All of the participants of the campaign expressed their heartfelt thanks to Mr Ward and the team to give this opportunity to play a role in keeping the environment clean.
