Dera Volunteers Conduct Coastal Cleanup Drive in California

Coastal Cleanup is the largest volunteer effort for ocean's health which is held annually every third Saturday of September. People around the world gather on beaches, coasts, rivers, waterways and underwater dive sites to remove trash and record information on the debris collected. Under the ideals set by Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers and members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing successfully accomplished a Coastal Cleanup Campaign at 950 Mason, St. Fransico, California (USA) on September 20, 2014. 62 volunteers participated in this drive. The tireless and zealous efforts of these volunteers accomplish the task in 2.5 hours. The local authorities commented that they never came across such a wonderful effort done by an organization in the entire Universe. People who viewed the whole campaign were amazed by the selfless spirit of volunteers for this humanitarian cause.
