A free eye check-up and eye surgery camp is organized annually on 13, 14, 15 December in Dera Sacha Sauda. The patients are operated free in this camp held in the sacred memory of His Holiness Shah Satnam Singh Ji, Second Master of Dera Sacha Sauda. Since 1992, more than thousands of patients have been operated upon & more than 10,000 patients undergo check-ups every year in this camp. The Ashram provides excellent facilities to patients including their stay and food. Thousands of patients from the states of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, U.P. and Delhi are served in this camp. Eminent Ophthalmologists extend their selfless services in this camp.

'19th MEGA FREE EYE CAMP - World Record'

This camp has established a Guinness World Record by screening 4603 eye patients in 8 hours. In 2010 a total of 1880 in Intra Ocular Lens implants (IOL's) were placed in patients to cure cataract blindness. Establishing another first in 2010, 70 free corneal transplants were also performed as a part of this mega eye camp. This camp is attended by eye super specialists thereby covering diseases like cornea, glaucoma, retina and squint etc. The surgeries are carried out in modern operating rooms. Apart from this eye camp, all around the year the affiliated Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospitals also perform free eye surgery. Till 2010, 18204 surgeries have been successfully performed here. The camp is a boon for the poor as well as those who have lost their eye sight. All arrangements are worth appreciating in this mega camp. The entire system is managed by the volunteers of Green S. Welfare Force.
