Guruji inspires everyone to be intensely patriotic. Everyone should be forever eager to serve the motherland. The help to the freedom fighters is a gesture to reinforce nationalism.

Dera Sacha Sauda has contributed immensely to the cause of those freedom fighters who have made notable contributions to the country's freedom struggle. The contribution of veterans to freedom struggle is deeply revered and their descendants are helped by Dera Sacha Sauda on a priority basis. Whether their effort was otherwise acknowledged elsewhere, or they remained largely unsung is immaterial. Guruji says that if you dwell in any country, work for its progress, development and upliftment. But the sacrifices of the patriots will have meaning only if their dreams are translated into ground realities.

The ashram has stated a special fund to assist the patriotic freedom fighters. Till date, the families of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, Shahid Udham Singh, S. Kartar Singh Sarabha have been amongst those honored by Dera Sacha Sauda. Revered Guruji gave them gold medals as token of remembrance and recognition. The Dera Followers are inspired to be intensely patriotic. They are forever eager to serve their motherland. The help to the freedom fighters is a link in the same chain.
