World Record of "Largest Human Droplet" created by Dera Sacha Sauda

Dera Sacha Sauda, an organization which always leads in humanitarian endeavors, set another record on Sunday 24th November 2013 when thousands of volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing (a humanitarian force formed and led by Dera Sacha Sauda) conveyed a unique message motivating general public towards blood donation.

On the pious occasion of Incarnation Month of Revered Saint Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj (the founder of Dera Sacha Sauda), the " Largest Human Droplet " event was organized under the directions of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing in which 10 thousand 05 hundred volunteers participated wearing red colored t-shirt & cap and formed the largest blood droplet in an area of 24 thousand square feet.

The volunteers also pledged to donate blood regularly and to motivate others too for the same.

The event was organized in Saint SMG Sports Complex located in Shah Satnam Ji Dham, Sirsa under the holy guidance of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. The droplet was formed in the center of sports complex in an area of approx. 24,000 square feet. It was formed by thousands of volunteers wearing red dress and when seen from a height of 80 ft above, it was looking like a huge drop of blood. After forming the droplet, volunteers stood still for 7 minutes to convey a message to the whole world to donate blood so that no one dies due to lack of blood.

The event was well-planned and executed by Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing in which 150 supervisors and 24 clickers were appointed. Clickers were responsible to mark the attendance of all the participants on entry gates. Every participant was given a unique ID having their full details.

The event started at 1.07 PM in the noon with a buzzer. Dr. Aditya Insan, Spokesperson of Dera Sacha Sauda said on the occasion that Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has always inspired the devotees to undertake activities for the welfare of mankind and this is because of the blessings of Revered Guru Ji only that Dera always excel in the field of humanitarian activities.

"By the holy grace of Revered Guru Ji, Dera Sacha Sauda has created 14 World Records in the field of social welfare out of which 3 are for Blood Donation itself. This " Largest Human Droplet " would be the 15th Guinness World Record created by Dera Sacha Sauda. The previous same world record has been created by Dubai wherein 71,000 people participated.",said Aditya Insan.

He further informed that till date the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda has donated around three and a half lac units of blood in several blood donation camps organized in the premises of Dera. Besides this, volunteers settled abroad also keep on donating blood in their respective countries. The event also aimed to motivate people to come forward to donate blood.

It is worth mentioning here that Dera Sacha Sauda organizes blood donation camp every month in its premises to aid Indian Army, Journalists, Police, Thalassemia patients and for the needy. Along with it, Dera Sacha Sauda has a well-equipped blood bank "Poojniya Bapu Maghar Singh Ji International Blood Bank" from where blood is made available to the needy without any replacement.

Above all, Dera Sacha Sauda has initiated 100 works for the welfare of mankind under the holy guidance of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan which are executed by the volunteers devotedly across the globe.

World Records created by Dera Sacha Sauda in the field of Blood Donation:

1. 15,432 units of blood donated in a blood donation camp organized in Sirsa on 7th December 2003. 2. 17,921 units of blood donated in a blood donation camp organized in Sri Gurusar Modia (Rajasthan) on 10th October 2004. 3. 43,732 units of blood donated in a blood donation camp organized in Sirsa on 8th August 2010.
