Awareness Rallies carried out by NSS Cadets of Shah Satnam Ji Boy's College

The NSS week being celebrated by the NSS volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Boys' College from 4th February ended on Monday. The volunteers took out a rally to combat the social evils. The Principal of the college, Mr. Ajay Insan waved the green flag to signal the commencement of the rally. The rally started off from Shah Satnam Ji Boys' College and proceeding via Shah Satnam Ji Dham, Vilage Nejia Khera, Shah Satnam Pura and back at the premises of the college. On the occasion, the Principal of the college, Ajay Insan expressed his views and said that the rallies carried out by the NSS volunteers for awakening the common masses towards Planting Trees-Save Environment; Aids-Free Haryana; Save Girl Child Haryana; and Against Addictions is worth appreciating. Mr. Insan said that these vices are an obstruction to the development of a nation. He further added that by the medium of this weekly campaign, children have been taught various attributes like social work, love, unity and friendship in their student life. Only through these campaigns, their perception towards the social evils can be changed. The NSS cadets who participated in the rally inspired the common masses against the social evils. The cadets carried banners in their hands with slogans written on them to evoke the common people against the social evils. The slogans included-

"Jo Beti ko de pehchan, Mata-Pita wahi mahaan"; "AIDS ka kewal ek hi ilaaj "“ Sathi ke prati wafadaari aur poori jaankari "; "Beti ko maaroge to bahu kahan se laaoge"; "Beti desh ka gahna hai, Humein isey bacha ke rakhna hai"; "Hamara sankalp AIDS mukt Haryana"; "Beti hai jaan hamari, Aan, baan aur shaan hamari"; "Beta-beti ek samaan, Mujhe bhi do jeene ka adhikaar" etc.
During the weekly campaign, the cadets carried out a cleanliness campaign at Aanganvaari Center, School and Water Works of Village Nejia Khera. The cadets also planted trees in the school and water works for safeguarding the environment. 50 NSS cadets of Shah Satnam Ji Boys' College participated in this campaign. On this occasion, the principal of the college Ajay Insan, NSS Incharge of college Satvinder Singh Insan, Sumit Singla, Rajesh Kaswa and dozens of NSS cadets were present.
