Dera Followers Conducted a Tree Plantation Drive in New Zealand

Dera Sacha Sauda followers and members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing held a Tree Plantation Drive in Hamilton, the main centre of the Waikato region and New Zealand's fourth largest city. This was the largest event amongst the all, already held so far. A total of around 3000 people attended and witnessed the occasion. This Tree Plantation was conducted to celebrate the World Environment Day, which is celebrated on every 5th June. The plantation drive was inaugurated by Ms. Julie Hardaker, the Mayor Hamilton, New Zealand. She herself planted a sapling in order to give the drive a green signal. Also, she had a meeting with the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing and gathered the complete information about Dera Sacha Sauda. A total of 45 Dera members from Tauranga, Hamilton and Auckland volunteered in this drive and performed tree plantation of around 9706 saplings in a short duration of 3 hours only. They also ensured that the saplings planted will be taken care of well to help them develop into grown up trees. Representatives of city council Hamilton appreciated the efforts of Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers who exhibited the real efforts for saving earth and promoting healthy environment for the coming generations. Volunteers in return passed on the whole credence to Revered Guru Ji who is the true source of inspiration for all volunteers across the globe.
