Dera Sacha Sauda at Peace Symposium, UK

Dera Sacha Sauda is a World known Organization for its Humanitarian Activities. Already, Dera Sacha Sauda has initiated 105 welfare activities in which more than 50 million of its devotees are involved; and by the Grace of God, these welfare activities are performed at such a large scale that multitude of records are created, both at National & International Level.

But as they say, recognition doesn't come easily, that too from unexpected corners. Such was the case at the 12th National Peace Symposium, held at the largest mosque in Western Europe, Morden, UK and theme for this year was "Religion, Freedom and Peace".

As we can understand, National Peace Symposium, that too being held at the largest Mosque, with the theme "Religion, Freedom and Peace ", this all makes it a one of a kind event, promoting the same ideologies that Dera Sacha Sauda propagates.

The scale of the event can also assessed by the elite guest list, which included Dignitaries like Secretaries of State, Parliamentarians, Diplomats, Leaders of various Faith, Civic Leaders as well as representatives from numerous charities and faith communities. More than 800 guests attend this unique event.

Amongst this premium guest list, Dera Sacha Sauda UK was also invited, as they had already contributed towards humanitarian acts and have always expressed their interest in welfare deeds. Last year, during December 2014, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda helped the government of UK, to make First World War centenary area, Epsom, a greener place by planting more than 500 trees in a record of less than 4 hours.   Considering the tireless efforts of Dera Sacha Sauda towards humanity worldwide, Ahmadiyya Muslim Association had shown their interest to join hands with Dera Sacha Sauda to work together for other humanitarian activities.

Prof Heiner Bielefeldt, UN Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Religion was guest speaker at the event.

"Love for all hate for none" was the slogan at this event and speakers encouraged all communities to work together on an international platform, with a program to provide clean water, medical assistance, sustainable energy and aid to those suffering across the world.

It was a great opportunity for Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers to interact with the elites of other communities and conjoin with the International Federation in spreading the message of love and peace in the society.
