Dera Sacha Sauda, an organization in confluence of all religions and well known for its humanitarian welfare works brought forth the message of consuming organic food in a very unique way. In an area of 20,000 square feet, 77.7 tonnes of organic vegetables were spread out to draw the numeric ‘1’. In just 3 hours, 500 volunteers created the “Largest Vegetable Mosaic” in which 7 different types of organic vegetables were used. “Eat Organic Live Long Life” and “A confluence of all religions” message was engraved on the mosaic symbolizing ‘1’, using the vegetables.
With the blow of hooter, Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan initiated the composition of this mosaic to spread the message of growing & consuming organic vegetables amongst the masses. This robust Mosaic was created in the complex of Saint SMG Sports Complex, with the use of 7 vegetables viz. Cauliflower, Beetroot, Yellow Bell Pepper, Peas, Garlic, Green Pepper and Tomatoes. 500 female volunteers participated in the event and stacked the vegetables in the artwork using “Toilos Powder Adhesive” in a record time of just 3 hours 5 minutes. The artwork started at 9:30 am in the morning and was completed by 12:35 pm.
On this occasion, Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan while blessing the volunteers engaged in the task of making this unique mosaic, said that today all the vegetables are sprayed with poison in the form of pesticides which enters into our bodies unknowingly, and affects our health negatively. Revered Guru Ji gave a call to all people to eat organic and live a long Life.
