Guru - The Beacon of Knowledge

Guru Purnima or Vyasa Purnima is the day when teachers and elders are worshiped. A Guru is the one who takes his disciples from the darkness of ignorance towards the light of knowledge, one who plays a vital role in the life of his disciples, and whose connection and relation with the disciples extends beyond the realms of this world.
