History of Dera Sacha Sauda

Revered Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj hailed from Baluchistan (now in Pakistan) and constructed a small hut near Sirsa on April 29, 1948, in a deserted area, which was named Dera Sacha Sauda, as per the blessings of Sai Ji’s spiritual master, Revered Sai Sawan Shah Ji Maharaj.

The word ‘Sacha’ means the ultimate truth is God, referred to as Allah, Waheguru, Ram, or by any other revered name, and worship His name is the true ‘Sacha Sauda’ or divine transaction. Revered Beparwah Ji founded this ‘Sacha Sauda,’ which flourished like a paradise in the wilderness. Gradually, the fragrance of devotion to God's name spread in all directions of the world, and today, the holy name of Dera Sacha Sauda resonates in all the continents of the world, wherever one goes.

With the intention of improving the world and humanity as a whole, Revered Beparwah Ji obtained approval from Revered Hazoor Baba Sawan Shah Ji for the sacred slogan, 'Dhan dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra.' Baba Ji sermoned, "Mastana Shah! The holy slogan Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra is hereby approved in both worlds. This is not an ordinary slogan. Whosoever chants this entire slogan with genuine sincerity, regardless of when or where, will experience a tremendous divine power that can pull them out of the clutches of death and even diminish their pain.” There are numerous instances that attest to the veracity of this statement.
