Lake Claremont, Australia beautified by Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers.

Thanks to the Holy inspiration and grace of Revered Guru Ji (Spiritual Teacher/Master), Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing have been constantly planting trees on a regular basis to reduce the negative effects of global warming.

Revered Guru Ji has initiated the "Nature Campaign" whereby volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing, Perth (Australia) participated in the Bush Land Rehabilitation Campaign Program led by Friends of Lake Claremont (Non Profit Wetland Caring group) on 14th July, 2013 and 28th July, 2013 (Australian National Tree Day). During this drive 6000 & 3975 saplings were planted, respectively, by 25 volunteers (each day), along with local residents, at Lake Claremont (Wetland & Fresh Water Lake) in Mount Claremont, Western Australia.

Bringing to limelight in brief the history of Lake Claremont, Bruce Haynes (a member of Claremont Council) said, "Over 60 years ago, the entire land of 150 Hectares was a swamp. This area was used as a rubbish tip (domestic waste) by the local council and was inhabited with mosquitoes. It used to stink to high heavens. In the late 1970s, it was shut down to re-vegetate it and turn it into a beautiful landmark much like the Bush Land Park. The members of Friends of Lake Claremont have been working to rehabilitate the place ever since. Truth be told, it is the largest wet and bush land rehabilitation campaign in the Perth Metropolitan area, where the local council has spent over AUS $50,000+ for funding the conservation campaign to redevelop native bush land trees suitable for wildlife like birds. This in turn has helped to control the water quality and reduced toxins in the wetland which are often harmful to native wildlife species. And hence, today, it attracts birds from across the world with a significant number being from Russia."

With a heart filled with gratitude, he went on to say, "I am thankful to volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing and their honourable master Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, who have together inspired these wonderful youngsters to do such an incredible work. Along with the Local Government Council (Town of Claremont) who provided funds to buy the saplings, we are also thankful to Heidi Hardisty who organized the event in collaboration with local residents, corporate groups and non-profit groups like Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing."

Several local citizens and media personnel attended the event and also interviewed the welfare members to get a story for their local newspapers. On hearing the 96 humanitarian works being executed under the Holy Command of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, they were impressed by the incredible spirit and enthusiasm of volunteers to work for selfless humanitarian causes.

Finally, local participants and attendees paid thanks to the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing, for serving them with palatable food (Langar), before bidding good bye.
