OVER THOUSANDS BENEFITTED FROM TWIN FREE EYE CAMPS

Under the National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB),Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation, Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa conducted two free Eye camps in the campus of Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. One 25th 'Yaad-E-Murshid' Free Eye Check-up Camp & the other Nishulk Netr Jyoti Swasthy Sewa Camp from 11th Dec-15th Dec, 2016, in the sacred memory of His Holiness Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, Second Master of Dera Sacha Sauda. On this auspicious occasion, Revered Guru Ji inaugurated the camps and gave his holy blessings to all the specialist and super specialist doctors, rendering their services in these camps. From the starting of this eye screening and operation camp, i.e. from Sunday till Wednesday evening, a total of 11,868 patients were registered which comprised of 6470 female patients and 5398 male patients. Within two days, 609 patients were screened, whereas in the modern operation theatres of Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital, operations were also performed on a total of 417 eye patients, of which 217 were male and 200 were female patients. There have been various count of people who were suffering from both cataract. Some lost their vision due to bad karma and it took no time for their world to get deserted. Some were devastated due to vision loss of their left eye, while others had loss of vision of right eye. But, the ongoing Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye camp in Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital became a blessing for all these blind people. Separate wards were set up for both male and female patients. All the operated patients were treated with utmost love, care and affection. No one was being disheartened throughout their stay in that hospital. The staff and other volunteers also helped them to take their food, medicines and are even accompanied to toilets as well. At the same time, special arrangements for lodging and food were also made available free of cost for the family members accompanying the patients. Such selfless service to provide medical aid that too without any charges is a blessing for thousands of patients, who cannot afford to arrange such a treatment by super specialist doctors by any means.
